Eiman Firoozmand, MD
Dr. Firoozmand is an Attending Surgeon in the Colorectal Surgery division at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He is also the Clinical Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery there. He is board certified in both colorectal and general surgery. His research and clinical interests include optimizing outcomes and techniques in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign anorectal disease.
Liza M. Capiendo, MD
Dr. Capiendo currently serves the Clinical Chief of the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She is also a member of the teaching faculty in the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is board certified and a member of The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Her research and clinical interests include the laparoscopic treatment of colon and rectal disorders.
Gary H. Hoffman, MD
Dr. Hoffman serves as an Attending Surgeon and an instructor in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. His also an Attending Surgeon in the Division of General Surgery and an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the The David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. He is board certified and his research interests include the laparoscopic, minimally invasive treatment of colon and rectal abnormalities as well as optimizing outcomes and techniques in general colorectal surgery.
Allen Kamrava, MD
Dr. Kamrava earned a duel graduate degree in medicine and business administration from Temple University’s School of Medicine and the Fox School of Business. Following this, he completed his general surgical residency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Kamrava then completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified.
Ali Mahtabifard , MD
Dr. Ali Mahtabifard is a board-certified surgeon in both general and cardiothoracic surgery. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He then completed a general surgery internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York, followed by a general surgery residency at The Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University. During this residency he also finished a two-year research fellowship in thoracic oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. After his residency he pursed a cardiothoracic fellowship at the University of California at Davis followed by another fellowship in advanced and minimally invasive thoracic surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Clark B. Fuller, MD
Dr. Clark B. Fuller is a board-certified thoracic surgeon. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and his medical degree from Creighton University. After that he completed his surgical residency at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Southern California. He he also finished fellowships in both esophageal studies and thoracic surgery.
David P. Magner, MD
Dr. Magner is board-certified in minimally-invasive and laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery. Through an interdisciplinary, patient-centered approach, he specializes in the treatment of all aspects of colorectal disease. Dr. Magner’s expertise includes pelvic floor dysfunction, benign anorectal conditions, advanced gastrointestinal malignancies, and inflammatory bowel disease. He is a skilled laparoscopic surgeon, offering completely laparoscopic approaches to surgeries which are often performed in an “open” or “hand-assisted” manner. He is also a member of the teaching faculty in the Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Babak Moeinolmolki, MD
Dr. Babak Moeinolmolki is a dual fellowship trained surgeon with experience in both minimally invasive bariatric surgery and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Moeinolmolki is a Los Angeles native who went to medical school at George Washington University. He also completed a surgery internship at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore in addition to a general surgery residence at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Moeinolmolki is an expert laparoscopic and bariatric surgery.
