At Hernia Surgery Los Angeles, our goal is to offer world-class care while also helping to raise awareness of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). To reach this goal, our surgeons support The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness, and Support (CHERUBS), a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting families who are affected by CDH. They  do this by searching for the cause of CDH as well as researching prevention and best treatments.

About CHERUBS

hernia-surgery-charityCHERUBS was founded in 1995 as the first and only CDH non-profit organization. It was created as a group effort to help all families affected by Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Over the course of its existence CHERUBS has served over 4300 families in 60 countries and all 50 US states. Through its dozens of free services and the bonds created within its community, CHERUBS has positively affected the lives of thousands of CDH families.

In addition to aiding families affected by CDH, CHERUBS works to encourage research and help raise the necessary money to make more research possible. They also work to help provide accurate and timely information to parents so that they can make the best decisions possible.
